Job Description

Positive Behavior Services, Inc. is a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in South Florida. We provide in-home services to children and adolescents on the Autism spectrum and related disorders. We are the leader in South Florida in providing on going professional development and support to our staff. We are looking to add full-time and part time RBT’s to our team.

Requirements:

  • RBT credential Required
  • Experience Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for implementing the behavior program and all procedures as written in the Behavior Support plan.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible training the caregivers and providing feedback to family regarding the implementation of the behavior plan
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s will train and monitor the parents collecting data and the behavior program.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for working one on one with the identified patient on language programs and replacement programs.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for collecting behavioral data in session as noted in the behavior plan. Data must be collected on the target behaviors as well as replacements. Language program data must also be collected for those who have a language program.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for writing session notes summarizing each session.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s must have the parents sign the electronic timesheet/note each session.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT must have all notes and timesheet completed and converted in client's electronic chart within 24 hours of conducting session.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s must be supervised at least 5% of the total direct hours worked monthly
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s must attend bi-monthly trainings.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s must be up to date regarding Human resources documentation including required trainings, certificates etc.
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for scheduling appointment’s with the family’s
  • Behavior Assistant/RBT’s are responsible for arriving at the patient’s home at the time of the scheduled visit.
